Classic rock heavyweights Black Star Riders are coming to town with their first ever UK headline tour.
The band, featuring Thin Lizzy members Ricky Warwick, Damon Johnson, Scott Gorham and Marco Mendoza together with ex Alice Cooper and Megadeath’s drummer Jimmy DeGrasso will take the chance to perform for the first time their debut album “All Hell Breaks Loose” as well as playing some Lizzy’s old favourites.
The tour is set to kick off on Friday 22 November at O2 Academy, Bournemouth, and will take place at different venues across the UK and Eire, including gigs and festival appearances in London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire, O2 Academy in Newcastle and Hard Rock Hell 6 Festival, Wales.
“All Hell Breaks Loose” (Nuclear Blast Entertainment) will be out on May 27, and will be released as a standard CD and also as a special edition digipak, featuring a bonus track, Right To Be Wrong, and a “Making of” DVD.
The first single, Bound For Glory, was premiered on BBC Radio 2 and is available to hear here, and to view a 24-minute compilation of behind-the-scenes video reports from the band’s studio time in LA, click here.
