Spiritbox is back, and they’re delivering another mind-blowing song with their latest single, No Loss, No Love.
This track is a rollercoaster, blending crushing prog-metal, mysterious spoken-word moments, and hypnotic electronic elements.
It’s all part of the build-up to their much-anticipated second album, “Tsunami Sea”, dropping on March 7 via Pale Chord / Rise Records.
Produced by Dan Braunstein and Spiritbox’s own Mike Stringer, No Loss, No Love keeps listeners hooked with its unpredictable twists and turns.
Courtney LaPlante’s jaw-dropping vocals
If there’s one thing that makes No Loss, No Love stand out, it’s Courtney LaPlante’s insane vocal range.
The vocalist of the two-time GRAMMY-nominated band, shifts effortlessly from deep, guttural growls to an almost robotic calmness, creating a sound that’s both haunting and powerful.
Fans of the song Yellow Jacket, included in the band’s acclaimed record “Eternal Blue”, will love the intensity of this one—it’s got that same energy but takes it even further.
“Tsunami Sea” is almost here!
No Loss, No Love follows the recently released Soft Spine and Perfect Soul, which just hit #25 on the Active Rock radio charts.
These songs give us a taste of what’s to come on “Tsunami Sea”, and if they’re any indication, this album is going to be a game-changer.
Before the album drops, Spiritbox will kick off their massive European tour on February 13 at London’s Alexandra Palace, performing for 10,000 fans.
And that’s just the beginning—this Summer, they’ll be playing even bigger venues, including stadium shows with Linkin Park in Italy, the Netherlands, and the UK.
How Spiritbox is taking over the modern metal scene
Spiritbox’s rise has been nothing short of meteoric.
Formed in 2017 by vocalist Courtney LaPlante and guitarist Mike Stringer in Victoria, Canada, they blew up in 2020 with their breakout hit Holy Roller.
Their debut album, “Eternal Blue”, smashed expectations, landing at #13 on the Billboard 200 and proving that modern metal can be both heavy and incredibly innovative.
Since then, Spiritbox has sold out entire tours, landed on top magazine covers including the likes of Revolver, Alternative Press, or Kerrang!, and won several awards like Best International Breakthrough Band at the Heavy Music Awards.
They’ve also experimented with different sounds, releasing the Rotoscope EP and collaborating with Megan Thee Stallion on a remix of her track Cobra.
Courtney LaPlante reacts to being mistaken for Poppy at the Grammys
At the Grammys, Courtney LaPlante was mistaken for Poppy, but instead of getting upset, the Spiritbox vocalist just went along with it and played along with the reporter.
She joked about the mix-up, showing her relaxed and charismatic side.
