Grab your hat and whip because soon you will be embarking on an epic gaming adventure with Indiana Jones.
Bethesda Softworks announced this Tuesday that it’s working on a brand new Indiana Jones game in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games and the Swedish video game developer, MachineGames.
The latter is worldwide known for developing the Wolfenstein series.
The new Indiana Jones game from Bethesda will tell an original story
While the contents of this new adventure are still a mystery, it has been confirmed that players will found a completely original story.
Todd Howard from Bethesda studio MachineGames will be executive producer alongside Lucasfilm Games.
The announcement made by Bethesda on Twitter revealed a small teaser clip that slowly pans over a desk cluttered with several items like Indiana Jones’ iconic hat and whip, a passport, a camera and a few photographs, a typewriter and a travel diary.
There is also a flight ticket to Rome dated October 21, 1937. So, we can assume the story will take place between the events happening between “Raiders of the Lost Ark” and “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade”.

In which platforms will Indiana Jones game be released?
At the moment it’s unclear in what platforms the game will be available, but as Microsoft will soon own Bethesda, the idea of launching it exclusively for Xbox is quite huge.
We would need to wait for some future confirmations on that matter.
A new Indiana Jones film starring Harrison Ford
Release date is also kept as a secret for now, but fans of Dr. Jones will get their share of the adventure thanks to the upcoming “Indiana Jones” movie starring Harrison Ford that will hit cinema theaters in 2022.
The new film directed by James Mangold (“Logan”) will be the last installment of the franchise, acting as a final closure for the character’s story.
