Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s Henry Cavill<\/a> returning as Superman for a new DC movie or, at least, in negotiations to return as the red-caped superhero.<\/p>\n

“The Man of Steel” star is reportedly in talks to reprise his role as Clark Kent for an upcoming movie developed by Warner Bros.<\/a>, according to media outlets like Variety<\/a> and Deadline<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A new Superman standalone film or a cameo in an upcoming DCEU film? Henry Cavill hasn’t hung his superhero cape yet!<\/h2>\n
Many fans would love to see Cavill coming back in a “Man of Steel” sequel, however, this possibility isn’t currently in the cards.<\/p>\n
As far as we know, Warner Bros. isn’t officially working on another Superman standalone movie, so the British actor’s comeback as the Kryptonian superhero could be in the form of a cameo appearance.<\/p>\n
It’s unlikely that Cavill would play Superman on Matt Reeves’s “The Batman<\/a>“, but the British actor could make a cameo on other DC movies that currently are on the works like “Aquaman<\/a> 2″, “The Suicide Squad<\/a>“, “Shazam 2” or Dwayne Johnson’s “Black Adam”.<\/p>\n
Cavill has wear Superman’s cape on three occasions. The actor played the iconic character in “Man of Steel” in 2013, “Batman v Superman<\/a>: Dawn of Justice” in 2016, and “Justice League” in 2017.<\/p>\n

A few days ago, director Zack Snyder announced that his recut version of “Justice League” will see the light on HBO Max<\/a> in 2021.<\/p>\n
This is a new opportunity to discover unreleased footage of Henry Cavill as Superman.<\/p>\n
The last time Cavill made an appearance in the big screen was in 2018’s “Mission Impossible: Fallout”.<\/p>\n
