Movie star Keanu Reeves<\/a> will release his first action-packed comic book this fall under BOOM! Studios’ label.<\/p>\n

The “John Wick” actor is co-writing a 12-issues brutally violent limited series entitled “BRZRKR” that tells the story of an immortal warrior’s fight through the ages.<\/p>\n

Reeves is working in collaboration with New York Times bestselling writer of “MIND MGMT” Matt Kindt, the acclaimed Marvel<\/a>‘s Secret Warrior artist Alessandro Vitti, “BRPD” colorist Bill Crabtree, and Hellboy’s letterer Clem Robins.<\/p>\n

“BRZRKR” by Keanu Reeves: A comic book series about a warrior who’s a semi-God<\/h2>\n
In “BRZRKR”, Reeves and Co. narrate the journey of a half-mortal and half-God warrior known as Berzerker who has been wandering the world for centuries battling enemies.<\/p>\n
In modern-day, Berzerker works for the U.S. government fighting the battles too dangerous for anyone else in exchange for the truth about his endless blood-soaked existence.<\/p>\n
Talking about his upcoming comic book series<\/a>, Reeves said: “I have loved comics since I was a young kid and they have been a significant influence on me artistically.<\/p>\n
“To have the chance to create “BRZRKR” and collaborate with legends in the industry like writer Matt Kindt, artist Alessandro Vitti, color artist Bill Crabtree, letterer Clem Robins, and conceptual\/cover artist Rafael Gramp\u00e1 \u2013 along with the great folks at BOOM! Studios<\/a> \u2013 is a dream come true.”<\/p>\n
“BRZRKR #1” will be released in October 2020, and will be purchased at local comic book shops (find the nearest to you at comicshoplocator.com<\/a>) and BOOM! Studios webstore.<\/p>\n
Digital copies will be available on providers like iBooks, Google Play, comiXology, and Madefire.<\/p>\n
A virtual preview of never-before-seen interior art and a behind-the-scenes information will be presented on BOOM! Studios panel at Comic-Con@Home<\/a> next July 26.<\/p>\n
