Chris Tucker strikes back with a mini UK stand-up comedy tour

Comedy legend and actor Chris Tucker announced on Tuesday he will be coming to the UK in November to perform three exclusive shows.

Tucker is set to open his UK tour with a show at the Hammersmith Apollo in London on Saturday 24, and will be entertaining audiences in Birmingham’s Symphony Hall on Monday 26 and the O2 Apollo, Manchester, two days later.

The funny man, best known for his role of Detective James Carter in the “Rush Hour” (New Line Cinema) movies, became one of the circuit’s favourites thanks to his acclaimed stand-up performances on Def Comedy Jam in the 1990s.

The actor has recently completed a film project entitled “Silver Lining Playbook” (The Weinstein Company) with Robert De Niro and Bradley Cooper and which will be out later this year.
