Iron Maiden has announced that they won’t be back to the stages until spring 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic.The British heavy rock band released a statement this Thursday to reveal they have rescheduled all their 2020 “Legacy of the Beast” shows to next year, including the one in Barcelona.
The band has cancelled their shows in Moscow, St Petersburg, Weert and Zurich.
To compensate the cancellations, they have added two shows in Arnhem and Antwerp.
The statement gives details about the band’s current situation: I hope you and your loved ones are staying safe and well, wherever you may be, and my continued thanks to you all for bearing with us so patiently.
Due to the continuing health issues Worldwide around Covid-19 we regretfully inform you that Iron Maiden will now not be playing any concerts until June 2021.
We are in the process of inviting back all the Special Guests and supports who were due to play with us this year.
Rearranging the headline Festival dates has unfortunately not been possible. This is mainly because we already had an extremely busy year lined up for. The band enjoy playing at Festivals so please be assured we will get back to as many of these as we can at another time.”

Iron Maiden postpones Barcelona’s show to June 2021
In spite the situation, Spanish fans will have the chance to see Iron Maiden next year.
Bruce Dickinson, and his army of troopers had planned to play a show in Barcelona (Estadi Olímpic) on June 25, 2020 with Within Temptation, and Airbourne.
This show has been rescheduled to June 19, 2021, according the Madness Live!
Within Temptation will join Iron Maiden as one of the special guests for this event. Australian band Airbourne has yet to be confirmed.
Madness Live! announced that 2020 tickets remain valid for next year’s shows.
Refunds are available until May 21, 2020. Users who purchased tickets at local stores can ask for a refund once they reopen.
