Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora has confirmed a string of European tour dates, including an intimate show at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on October 16, as part of the presentation of his brand new solo album.
After announcing the release of his third record as a solo artist, “Aftermath Of The Lowdown” (Dangerbird Records), on September 17, the six-string virtuoso will take the chance to display an array of his all-time hits with Bon Jovi as well as performing his new material.
Departing from his previous major label releases, “Undiscovered Soul” (Mercury, 1998) and “Stranger In This Town” (Mercury, 1991), Sambora is returning to his musical roots, creating a highly personal album.
Talking about the inspiration behind the new record, he said: “This is the truth, the lowdown, and after you speak that truth, there’s always an aftermath.”
Sambora, worldwide known for penning many of the best rock guitar anthems of the last three decades, will also play shows in Amsterdam, Berlin and Munich during October.
Tickets for the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire show go on sale today priced at £42.50.
