Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner landed last night at the Palacio de Congresos in Barcelona’s CCIB/Fòrum venue for the premiere of the fourth installment of the “Twilight” saga (Aurum), sparking frenzy among the thousands of fans who gathered to catch a close-up glimpse of the two stars.
Accompanying the actors, who were exceptionally attentive to fans by taking photos and signing autographs, was the film’s director, Bill Condon.
The major missing presence was Kristen Stewart, who did walk the red carpet on Wednesday at the London premiere.
In this new installment, Edward and Bella get married, and on their honeymoon, she becomes pregnant with a half-human, half-vampire baby, bringing unexpected consequences for Jacob.
The saga will conclude next year with the release of the second part of “Breaking Dawn” in November 2012.
“Breaking Dawn: Part I” is in theaters starting today, Friday, November 18.
